Fire suppression inspection & certifications
Visual inspections are required to confirm the pressure gauges are in the correct ranges, confirm the valves are in the open position and note any visual defects or obstructions of the sprinkler system. Fire Suppression Inspections are mandatory through NFPA96 and your system must be certified as compliant to avoid FDNY violations and fees.
Functional flow test
Once a visual inspection is performed it can be determined if a Functional Flow Test is needed. A Functional Flow Test will be needed if malfunctions and/or operational disruptions are present during the visual inspection under the NFPA25 guidelines.
